Dear Students
A Health Manager is a person who manages the resources allocated to health effectively and efficiently. In the process of globalization, in an environment where competition is at a high level, the skilled workforce must be well equipped and have the ability to make a difference. Today, health managers who can effectively manage health institutions should have characteristics such as high communication skills, good time management planning, good teamwork management, high presentation skills, high ability to influence and direct others, advanced leadership skills, forward thinking, analytical and openness to innovations.
The main purpose of the Department of Health Management at Istanbul Beykent University, SBF, is to support the training of career-oriented qualified health managers who can take part in health institutions and organizations in the world and in Turkey and to be able to provide graduates at a level equivalent to the undergraduate programs recognized by developed countries. Another aim of our department is to train health managers who can comprehend internal and external factors, try to understand managerial functions from a broad perspective, analyze with analytical thinking methodology, produce new and creative knowledge in the light of experimental knowledge as well as universal theoretical knowledge, and thus contribute to the positive development of business life.
The vision of our department is to be an internationally preferred, reliable, reputable education and research institution that creates inter-university cooperation and pioneers innovations. In line with the activities of our S.Y. Club, our students come together with the experts of the sector. Within the scope of the Erasmus program, our students have the opportunity to receive education from different universities.
After graduation, our students have the opportunity to continue their careers as academicians in the management units in all areas of health institutions and organizations, public and private health institutions, health insurance, health tourism, promotion of health services, marketing, corporate communication and postgraduate education in the field of Health Management at our university.
